About Diversity Science
Who we are and where the work comes from.
Diversity Science is a European social benefit company that develops and licenses evidence-based education for clinical research teams and healthcare professionals. Our purpose is straightforward: decades of mind-sciences research should be working for trial participants, patients, and the professionals who serve them, not sitting in journals.
We translate a complex body of evidence from social and cognitive psychology, social neuroscience, and related mind sciences into practical, scalable skills that improve the quality and consistency of high-stakes interactions. In clinical research, that means recruitment and informed consent conversations that engage every eligible patient with confidence and consistency, producing enrollment that better represents the people a medicine is meant to serve.
All content is developed with subject matter experts, grounded in peer-reviewed sources, and evaluated with experienced professionals before release.

Senior scientist and managing partner. Her research on provider behavior and the quality of care across patient populations has helped shape the field.
John (Jack) Dovidio, PhD
Senior scientist. Professor Emeritus at Yale University, whose work in social psychology on intergroup processes spans hundreds of peer-reviewed publications.

Our track record
Diversity Science B.V. is the European entity of Humanitas Institute (Portland, Oregon, USA). Through Humanitas Institute, our courses have been evaluated with more than 18,000 clinicians and healthcare professionals and are used by leading US healthcare organizations, including Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, and Kaiser Permanente Northern California. [CONFIRM CLIENT NAME PERMISSIONS] The flagship course Dignity in Pregnancy and Childbirth was cited in the October 2023 California Department of Justice report as the education used by the vast majority of California hospitals under state law SB 464.
