How Diversity Science B.V. handles personal data.

Diversity Science/Diversiteit Wetenschap B.V. (“Diversity Science”, “we”), Koornmarktpoort 25 C, 8253 TE Dronten, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42034485, is the controller for the processing of personal data described in this policy. What we process and why

  • Contact form and email. When you contact us, we process your name, organization, email address, and the content of your message, to respond to you and to maintain our correspondence. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
  • Organizational customers. When your organization engages us, we process business contact details of the people involved, to perform the agreement and for our administration. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legal obligations (including tax administration).
  • Website analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies and do not build profiles of individual visitors. Aggregated statistics only. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data, we do not use advertising trackers, and we do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Course enrollment and learning take place on our learning platform, which has its own privacy policy presented at registration.

Recipients

We use service providers to host the website and process email, under data processing agreements where required: [HOSTING PROVIDER], [EMAIL PROVIDER], [ANALYTICS PROVIDER]. Correspondence is kept for up to two years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required for a contract or by law. Administrative records are kept for the statutory retention periods (in general seven years under Dutch tax law).

You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability, within the limits of the GDPR.
